1. Upload and unpack LiteCommerce distribution files. The procedure is different for UNIX and Windows-based web servers:

* '''If your server is UNIX-based and you can access it via FTP and use SSH''': Upload the LiteCommerce distribution file 'litecommerce.tar.gz' to your server using FTP client of your choice, place the file in the desired directory within your web space, then unpack it with the following command:
