If, after configuring X-Cart to work with a certain PayPal solution, you decide to change the PayPal solution being used (for example, if you wish to switch from PayPal Payments Standard to Express Checkout), you can easily do so:

  1. In your X-Cart store's Admin area, go to the 'Payment methods' page (Settings->Payment methods).
  2. In the list of your store's payment methods, locate the name of the PayPal payment method you use currently, then use the following instructions:
    • If your current PayPal payment method is Payflow Pro:
      1. Disable the PayPal payment method titled Payflow Pro (unselect the check box to the left of the payment method name and click the Apply changes button).
      2. Follow these instructions to add and enable the PayPal method you require.
    • If your current PayPal solution is anything but Payflow Pro, and you are switching to PayPal Payments Pro or Website Payments Pro Payflow Edition:
      1. Complete the signup process for the PayPal solution you require as provided by instructions under Step 1 of this procedure.
      2. In X-Payments, configure the PayPal payment method you require, then import it from X-Payments to X-Cart - as provided by instructions under Step 2 of this procedure.
      3. On the 'Payment methods' page of your X-Cart store's Admin area (Settings->Payment methods), click the Configure link next to the name of your store's current PayPal payment method. This opens X-Cart's PayPal configuration page.
